I have one and its really aggressive, he attacks everything and sometimes tries to fight the jack dempsey's .. i really don't know much about them but id like to know ..are your aggressive too?
ok lol interesting new theory on its behavior.
When we had him in with the zebras he was mean as hell,since the aggressive types have been removed hes as calm as a dove .
I think it imitates its tank mates in order to fit in because now hes placid and the tank bully is now the hongi.I've sold him either way goodbye crazy fish lol

Extremly aggressive!!! Better to have in a tank only a single male with 2-3 females. He attacks my Frontosa!!! (2 times bigger than him!)

nice video....but a Haplochromis sp. and a zebra obliqueden arent the same fish
the zebra obliquedens are actually Astatotilapia latifasciata now there are hablochromis obliquedens also, but their a "red tail" and a "blue"
