| Good looking fish. We have a sail fin that is about 9"+ started out tiny, now bigger than our cichlids. _________________ Don't put that fish in water you'll drown it! |

They grow fast ! Mine is around 4 years old or so and is now 16-17" long. They become bullies as they grow also....
Mine is housed with a huge 16"+ clown knife fish. They get along well, except when the pleco trys sucking/chewing on the knife
I have noticed they are big poopers with trails of poop that reach over a foot long !
My big guy likes earth worms as well...yum yum _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/ddyerfamily |

| They leave mighty trails of poop. But they do a good job cleaning up the scraps, and I think they are some the neatest fish to watch, they kinda use thier fins like legs to prop themselves up on the bottom when eating algae pellets. Of course it is always great when someone has one that discovered the joy of feeding time and will swim belly up sucking food off the surface. I always get a kick out of that. Sadly ours doesn't, but we feed his algae pellets just for him. _________________ Don't put that fish in water you'll drown it! |
